All Saints
On November 1 the Western Church honours all the saints, known and unknown, who now live in God's presence. The Orthodox churches celebrate All Saints on the Sunday after Pentecost. On November 2 Catholics remember the faithful departed; many Protestants remember the Reformation on October 31.
